To meet the capacity and latency demands of 5G applications and services, mobile operators are reimagining their access networks from single-vendor hardware-centric architectures to multi-vendor open solutions built on disaggregated software and hardware components. NTS also has been cooperated with global operators and equipment suppliers for Open RAN.

n  NTS develops Remote Radio Unit(RRU) for 5G base stations that comply with O-RAN fronthaul specifications established by the O-RAN Alliance. It supports global major frequency bands and CPRI/eCPRI interface to BBU and fulfills the requirements for 5G network as an important part of the Open RAN ecosystem.

n  5G is expected to require a large number of small-coverage base station. NTS's RRU is designed with advanced signal processing, self-owned DPD algorithm, and high efficiency technology. The RRU is ideal for 5G conditions as it is compact, light weight and consume a low level of power, which reduces installation and operation costs.
